San Francisco XV: Candace & Eithan Get Married | San Francisco City Hall
Here are some of the highlights from our shoot this past Friday. I documented Candace and Eithan get their marriage certificate and have their civil-commitment ceremony, which was led by the same commissioner who led the signing. The couple signed their marriage license inside the Office of the County Clerk, and this was followed by the ceremony in the beautiful rotunda above the stairs inside San Francisco City Hall. The interior of City Hall is... Read More

San Francisco XIII: Craftsmanship – Photography by Josh Farria | Infinite SF
Here are photographs from “Craftsmanship” Josh Farria‘s solo art show at Infinite SF. Josh Farria (pronounced fair-ee-ay) is a photographer based in San Francisco, originally from New Orleans. His show drew many photo nerds, and many of his fans, even a few of the models in his portraits, packed inside a pretty small space (it’s typically an apparel shop) with walls covered with Josh Farria’s work. During the show,... Read More

San Francisco XI: 3rd Annual SF Street Food Festival
La Cocina, the San Francisco-based incubator kitchen held their 3rd annual San Francisco Street Food Festival on Saturday, August 20th. We smelled something delicious pretty quickly and made our way to the La Mar tent, where they were deep frying Yuca Frita. The yuca frita is a cassava root deep fried. It was really crispy on the outside, and warm and soft like a Gregoire potato puff on the inside. We also had a small dish of Cebiche clásico,... Read More

Above are photos from the walk from Chinatown to Kerouac Alley where the fair takes place, nestled in between Chinatown and North Beach. Roseli specializes in women’s vintage and accessories... Gracias Madre serves 100% organic and vegan Mexican cuisine. All cheeses, milks and ice creams are made of nuts, and their handmade tortillas and tamales are made using non-GMO organic heirloom corn. They have a seasonal menu (I enjoyed Enchiladas con Mole, “Spicy mole enchiladas topped with mushrooms and cashew cheese, served with sautéed greens and beans”) and determine ingredients based on what’s available at their Be Love Farm...
